JAMMU, Sept 6: At the 3rd J&K Ranking Table Tennis Championships 2024, Myrah Dewan lifted the Under-13 girls’ title, defeating Srishti in a dominant 3-0 victory. In the Under-11 girls’ category, Alena Arora showcased her skills and claimed the top spot.
Saiyam Nischal continued his impressive form in the Under-15 boys’ category, blazing through the competition to secure his place in the final after a 3-0 win over Ahaan Anand. Samar Dev Bansal also demonstrated exceptional composure, defeating Gourav Singh by 3-0 to set up a showdown with Saiyam in the final.
In the Under-17 boys’ category, Hunny showcased his experience, overcoming young prodigy Saiyam Nischal by 3-1 to reach the finals. The other semi-final saw a sibling rivalry unfold, where Samarth defeated his brother Satyam in a competitive 3-1 match. The event, officiated by Meenu Rajesh, Asad Sharma, and Ankit Sharma, was filled with thrilling matches and showcased the rising talent in J&K table tennis.
