SAMBA, Oct 6: Four police personnel were injured when they were attacked by Gujjars in their Basti in Bari Brahmna area early this morning after a team of police from Bari Brahmana Police Station raided the area.
The Gujjars in the Basti expressed grave resentment against the police action and attacked the police party by resorting to stone pelting in which four cops were injured and the condition of one was stated to be serious.
In this regard a case FIR No 238/2023 U/S 307/353/336/332/147/148/506/IPC&4/25Arms Act has been registered at PS Bari Brahmana and investigations started.
