Kathua, May 20: District Development Commissioner Kathua Ramesh Kumar conducted surprise check of various Government offices in Hirangar Sub-division today.
DDC visited offices of CDPO, PHE Mechanical & Civil , EO Municipality, SDH Hirangar, Sub Centre Chakda, Govt. Higher Secondary School Chakda and checked the attendance and found 12 employees unauthorized absent from duties.
Taking serious note of the absenteeism, DDC immediately suspended 4 employees and sought explanation of 8 other employees and with held their salary with immediate effect.
