SRINAGAR, Dec 13: Police in Srinagar today arrested 4 gamblers and seized stake money from their possession.
As per authorities, acting on reliable information regarding the gambling activities, a Police party of PS Bemina raided the specific location and arrested four gamblers.
They have been identified as Mohd Sultan Hanji son of Ab Rehman resident of Shah Colony Fruit Mandi, Altaf Ahmed Guroo son of Ab Hameed, Fayaz Ahmad Dandroo son of Gh Mohd and Irshad Ahmad Khanday son of Gh Mohd Khanday, all residents of Mansoor Colony Bemina.
“Stake money of Rs 7,190, playing cards and three mobile phones have been recovered from their possession,” police said.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Bemina.
