Srinagar, Aug 28: Police today said it has recovered about 800 grams of Brown Sugar from a Scorpio in Safapora and held four persons transporting the contraband and investigation has been started.
A police spokesman said during the routine naka checking, a police party of Police Safapora headed by SHO G M Rather intercepted a Scorpio JK15/1566. During checking of the vehicle a packet weighing approximately 800 gm containing brown sugar was recovered from the vehicle. Four persons including driver of the vehicle were arrested.
He said FIR no. 23/2014 under Section 21 NDPS in this regard has been registered and investigation started.
