4 State players leave for World Speedball C’ship

JAMMU, Feb 17: Four players of Jammu and Kashmir left to represent the Country in the 27th World Championship to be held at Kuwait from February 19 to February 24, 2014.
These selected speedball players include Shrea Sharma,  student of Carmel Convent School; Amandeep Singh, students of JP World School; Samaksh Kumar Prasad, student of Army Public School.
They will be accompanied by Renu Kour and Sunny Nanda as coaches.
Before leaving for the tour, the players called on Director General of Youth Services and Sports, Navin Aggarwal, who also happens to be the vice-chairman of the Association.
He hoped that these players would not only bring laurels to the State only but the country as well.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Anil Nanda, president J&K Speedball Association and Mitu Prasad.
