KARACHI : At least 41 people were killed and 20 others wounded when unidentified assailants opened fire on a bus near Safoora Chowk area here today. Motorcyclists opened indiscriminate fire on the bus, wounding several passengers. The deceased included 25 men and 16 women, hospital sources said. The attackers managed to fled the scene after the incident, Dawn news reported. Security and rescue teams have reached the spot. Fear and panic gripped the area after the attack. The condition of several wounded was reported as critical and the death-toll is expected to increase. (AGENCIES)
