SRINAGAR, Sept 24: 42 All India Inter-Zonal Football tournament organized by Food Corporation of India, J&K concluded at Polo ground here today.
In a very impressive function at polo ground exciting final match was played between North Zone and West Zone football teams of Food Corporation of India in which North Zone football team bagged the winner’s trophy with the 6-0. .
On this occasion, General Manager FCI, J&K Region R.K Jain was the Chief Guest while as Executive Director J&K Bank Tafazul Hussain, President JKFA, Mr. Zameer Ahmad Thakur, organizers and large numbers of football lovers witnessed the exciting match.
In the Presentation ceremony Chief Guest R K Jain gave awards and trophies to winners, runner up team and all participating teams. Awards were also given to some prominent football personalities.
