Kishtwar : Burglars have looted Rs 40 lakh from a bank in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.
The loot includes old currency worth Rs 20 lakhs.
Police said that burglars broke into the manager’s chamber of a Jammu and Kashmir Bank branch located in Agral sarthal village and looted the cash.
SSP Kishtwar Sandeep Wazir said they have registered a case and the culprits would be arrested soon.
