JAMMU, Sept 3: 44th KVS Regional Sports Meet was inaugurated by A V L J Rao, Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Jammu Region today at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Gandhi Nagar, here today.
Chess, Skating, Shooting, events are being held during the Meet, which will continue till September 5, 2013.
293 Players along with 37 escorts from Kendriya Vidyalayas of KVS Jammu Region in J&K State, parts of Himachal and Punjab are participating in this Meet.
Similar functions were conducted at KV No.1, Amritsar Cantt, where A S Gill,
Assistant Commissioner, KVS, Jammu Region was the chief guest.
