JAMMU, Jan 12: 4th Eid-Diwali Christmas T20 Cricket Championship for college students and youths of the State will be held from January 16, 2016 at Parade ground, here.
The Championship will be organized jointly by Christian Sports Organization, JK Police, Simula Sports and Atman Sports Club
This was decided in a meeting chaired by Fr. Kuriakose in the office of Christian Sports Organization Jammu, today.
According to a handout issued here the Slogan of the tournament will be “Khelo Khushi Sey-Par Nasha Mat Karo”.
The meeting among others was attended by Hilal Rather MD Simula, Sanjay Mahajan MD Atman group, Rajesh Gill Former Ranji Player, Vijay Saberwal President Parade Sports Association, Victor Sotra Vice President, Asif Gill Joint Secretary and David Mattoo, Sports Secretary.
Former Ranji Trophy player, Rajesh Gill, the organizing secretary of the tournament informed that the teams which have confirmed their participation included Shastri Club, Sarveshwar Club, Tawi Cricket Club, Khalsa Club, KC Sports Club, Jammu Stars Eleven, Tanishta Club, ICC Jammu, Jammu Police Eleven, Sai Cricket Club, Gurunanak Cricket Club, Simula Cricket Eleven, Christian Sports XI, Allied Club, RCC Srinagar, Mayank Academy, Batindhi Club, Dogra Club, Shenshah Club, Bahufort Club and J&K Warriors.
The organizers have invited all the team captains to contact Mr Gill for further information regarding fixture and allied things.
