BANDIPORA, June 5: The 4th match of Kashmir Invitation Football Cup (KIFC)-2014 inaugurated by District Development Commissioner, Bandipora, Dr. Shah Faisal at Sports Stadium here today.
The match was played between J&K Bank Football Club and State Bank Kerala Football club.
The tournament is being organized by J&K Football Association in collaboration with State Sports Council.
Superintendent of Police Bandipora, officers of district administration, NHPC, representatives of Football Association and Sports Council besides a sizeable number of sports lovers were present on the occasion.
Hailing the efforts of the Association, Sports Council and the district administration for making adequate arrangements, the District Development Commissioner said that effective steps would be taken to promote sports activities in the district.
