4th Yogasana Sports C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Sept 10: The 4th J&K-UT Yogasana Sports Championship 2023 organized by Yoga Association of Jammu and Kashmir concluded at Braham Kumari’s Om Shanti Meditation centre here today.
Chief guest on the occasion was patron-in-Chief of Yoga Association Rajyogini B.K. Sudarshan Didi and B.K. Ravinder Bali was the guest of honour who awarded momentous medals and certificates to the winners.
Earlier, Vinod K. Bhatia Secretary General of Yoga Association briefed about the activities of Yoga Association as J&K-UT Yogasana team is going to participate in 48th Sub Junior and Junior National Yogasana Sports championships Guwahati (Assam).
The championship was officiated by National Referee, judges of Yoga federation Dayal Ram, Mukesh Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar, Rajesh Bandral, Sabita Sharma and Aryaaveer Singh.
Results of the championship were in Boys, girls under 8-10 years age category; Naksh Vohra (Jammu) clinched the first spot in boys while Aaradhya Singh (Jammu) in girls category.
While in Boys 10-12 years age category, Divyesh Sharma (Jammu) clinched the first spot in boys and in girls Sadhya Sharma (Jammu) remained in top position. In 12-14 years, Banshu Sharma (Jammu) in boys and Akshi Sharma (Reasi) remained in the top. In 14-16 age categories, Shaurya Bandral (Jammu) in boys and Rudrakshi Manhas (Jammu) in girls topped, in 16 to 18 years age category, Surinder Rajput (Jammu) in boys and Sakshi Sharma (Jammu) in girls clinched the top positions.
