JAMMU, Aug 21: Chinore, Pouni Chak and Domana police arrested five persons along with 158 bottles of illicit liquor, a police official said.
The arrested persons were identified as Bal Krishan, son of Yash Paul and Sukhdev Kumar, son of Bihari Lal, both residents of Gho Manhasa, Narinder Singh, son of Pritam Singh of Camp Gole Gujral, Arun Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar of Lower Roop Nagar and Mool Chand, son of Mathra of Muthi.
Cases under FIR Numbers 235/2020, 236/2020 and 237/2020 under section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigation started.
Police teams led by Incharge Chinore Police Post SI Deepak Bharti, Incharge Police Post Pouni Chak SI Rohit Bhagat and SHO Domana Inspector Chanchal Singh made the arrests under the supervision of SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul, SP Rural Jammu Suram Singh and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
