KATHUA, May 19: Five persons of a marriage party got injured, when the vehicle they were traveling in turned turtle near Hote area, falling under the jurisdiction of Lakhanpur police station.
As per police sources, a mini-bus bearing registration number JK02Q-5167 carrying baratis turned turtle near Hote area, falling under the jurisdiction of Lakhanpur police station, resulting into injuries to five persons.
After getting information, police team led by SHO Lakhanpur police station Anoop Sharma and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the five injured persons to District Hospital (DH), Kathua, where their condition was stated to be out of danger, when reports last came in.
The injured have been identified as Bishan Dass, Raj Kumar, Vikas Kohli, Rattan Singh and Sham Kumar, all residents of Hatli.
A case in this regard has been registered at Lakhanpur police station and investigation started.
