ANANTNAG, Oct 6: Five days “spiritual retreat” was organised within “Shree Ramakrishna Mahasamela Ashram RKMA and Vivekananda Kendra (VK), Nagdandi under patronage of Vivekananda Rock Memorial & Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari.
Sayeed Fakhruddin Hamid, District Development Commissioner, Anantnag chaired the concluding day proceedings as chief guest. The event started with invocation and Geet Mantra followed by honouring of the chief guest by Bhanudas Ji, general secretary, VRM and VK, Kanyakumari. B.L.Bhat , Shivar Pramukh and chairman “SRMA- VK”, Nagdandi briefed about the programme.
He said to manage the event more productively and purposefully, the participants attended in four groups of Ashokananda, Abhinav Gupta, Lalleshwari and Rup Bhawani Ghans. He wanted the youth in Vessu, Martand, Sheikhpora and Veerwan to integrate and start all Kendra Varg activities more systematically under umbrella of “SRMA-VK”, Nagdandi.
Bhanudas Ji , general secretary ,VRM & VK, Kanyakumari in his three lecture sessions enriched the participants on topics like Journey of Life from “Self – Interest to Enlightened Self – Interest”, Divinity and it’s Manifestation and Our organisation as a Service Mission.
He declared, the Spiritual Retreat events are of paramount importance in nation building. Kishore Tokekar, joint general secretary, VRM & VK, Kanyakumari gave detailed guidelines during his four valedictory sessions covering journey of a person to ultimate “Moksha.” – Sayeed Fakhruddin Hamid ,District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, complimented the participants for coming from various states and UTs attending this important “Spiritual Retreat Shivar” in Nagdandi and moving around to judge for themselves the feel positive thought drift at ground level in Kashmir through developmental activities and other healing touches from administration necessary for peace, normalcy and prosperity of JK, UT. While assuring of full cooperation and logistic support from administration, he wanted more and more such Shivers to be organised.
Bhanudas Ji in his presidential address expected the participants to carry the massage of Swami Ashokananda Ji, and Vivekanand Ji “Manav Seva Say Rashtra Seva” under doctrine and umbrella of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari.
Inder Krishen Raina , Member Administrative Committee, requested the participants to share their experiences during the Shivar.
All arrangements were made under the supervision of Surinder Dhar.
Dr P.S Pathania and Bhanudas Ji in their presidential address urged the participants to start their Karykarta Nirman for nation building” more cautiously and vigorously.
