JAMMU, Oct 20: Five gamblers were held today in a police raid at back side of Bagh-e-Bahu Market and an amount of Rs 3420 and playing cards were recovered from them.
The raid was conducted by Bagh-e-Bahu police on a specific input and all the gamblers namely Rahul Kumar son of Suresh Kumar, Dinesh Kumar son of Pitamber Dass, Sunny son of Sikander Lal, Ankush Khajuria son of Shanker Khajuria and Madan Mohan son of Kundan Lal, all residents of Bahu Fort, arrested.
A case under Public Gambling Act was registered against them in Police Station, Bagh-e-Bahu and they were produced in the court of law.
