UDHAMPUR Apr. 25: In a land dispute, five members of a family were severely beaten up by the rival group at village Bali Nallah in Udhampur.
The injured have been identified as Saraj Din, his wife Gulam Fatima, son Mohd. Latif, Latif’s wife Mukhtyar Begum and Sardanan Begum wife of Mohd Yaqoob. All are resident of Balinallah, Udhampur.
All of them have been admitted at District Hospital Udhampur and their condition was stated to be stable.
They were allegedly beaten up by Mohd Buta, son of Chura Din and his accomplices following a land dispute with the victim family.
Meanwhile Police have registered the case and started investigations.
