JAMMU: As many as 53 people were injured, two of them critically, when a passenger bus skidded off and rolled down along the bank of a canal on the city outskirts, police here said.
“A bus carrying passengers, this morning, rolled down on the road along the bank of a canal near village Dabbar in Bishnah tehsil, when the driver lost the control over the vehicle,” police said.
Police party and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the Sub-District Hospital.
“Two of the critically injured persons have been referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu,” police added. (AGENCIES)
