JAMMU, Apr 24: A 56-year-old man died in a road accident here at Talab Tillo area of the District today, officials said.
They said Yash Pal (56) son of Banarasi Lal of Hazuri Bagh, Jammu, was hit by an unknown vehicle at Anand Nagar, Talab Tillo area at around 7:45 am.
“He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College Jammu, where he was declared as dead on arrival by the team of doctors,” a police spokesperson said.
Police have shifted the body to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem while a case FIR Number 144 under Sections 279 and 304 (a) of the IPC has been registered at the concerned police station and further investigation taken up.
