Srinagar Mar 16: The 5th day of the ongoing 71st B.N. Mullik Memorial All India Police Football Championship witnessed intense matches played across four different venues, with 15 teams battling it out to secure their entry into the pre-quarter stage
At Bakshi Stadium, the SSB Women’s team put up an exceptional performance against Jharkhand Police Women, scoring a whopping 20 goals against their opponent’s nil. In another women’s match, Assam Rifles defeated J&K Police Women 4-0, while the match between Tamil Nadu Police Women and Odisha Police Women ended in a goalless draw.
At Polo Ground, Haryana Police won against Goa Police with a close score of 2-1, while Arunachal Police defeated Bihar Police by 1-0. Tamil Nadu Police emerged victorious in their high-intensity match against Puducherry Police with a score of 5-1, and Uttarakhand Police won against Telangana Police with a score of 3-0.
At Kashmir University, RPF defeated Himachal Pradesh Police 3-2, while BSF won against Delhi Police by scoring two goals. The match between CISF and ITBP was won by CISF with a score of 3-0, and Jharkhand Police won against Gujarat Police with a score of 2-0.
At Synthetic Turf Ground, Assam Police won against Manipur Police with a score of 3-1, while Punjab Police won against Rajasthan Police with a score of 3-2. Kerala Police emerged victorious against J&K Police with a score of 1-0, while Mizoram Police defeated Madhya Pradesh Police with an impressive score of 6-0.
The fifth day of the league rounds of the 71st B.N.
