JAMMU, Apr 24: 5th Sant Gurbaksh Singh Danna Memorial Hockey Tournament, being played at K K Hakku Stadium will commence from tomorrow.
The six days Tournament will conclude on April 30, 2018. The tournament will be played on knockout basis.
According to a handout issued here, fifteen teams will participate in the tournament, out of which three teams will be from the adjoining State of Punjab namely Khalsa Warriors Amritsar, Gurdaspur XI and Pathankot XI, while three teams from Kashmir Province will also participate.
The opening ceremony will take place at 4.30 pm and the opening match will be played between Behram Shah Hockey Club Anantnag and Lachipura Hockey Club Kathua.
The tournament will be held under the patronage of Sant Tejwant Singh Ji of Dera Sant Pura Danna Guru Nanak Nagar, Jammu.
