JAMMU, Nov 22: An Art of living camp for Women of GC Bantalab Jammu was inaugurated on November 17, 2014 by Savi Tayal, President Zonal CWA and Arunima Sinha W/o Shantmanu, IAS, Divisional Commissioner Jammu. This camp was for six days which was completed today on November 22, 2014. On this occasion R.C Tayal, SDG J&K Zone was the chief guest. Sunil Singh, IG (J&K) Zone, Rozy Dhar, President Sector CWA, Arun Kumar DIG GC, Bantalab, Praveen Kumar, DIG, R.S. Rautela, DIG were other dignitaries present on the occasion.
About 120 ladies, working and ladywives of all ranks, participated in this camp, where they learnt how to get relief from stress in their life by adopting stress-relief courses, based on yoga, breathing, and meditation. Arunima Sinha shared her experiences on above subjects with ease and performed with them practically also.
All participants were very enthusiastic about this camp and urged to continue such camp in the future also. At the end of the session they shared their experiences about how these 6 days have changed their life into happiness and filled them with positive energy for rest of their life.
The course teacher Arunima Sinha said that a disease free body and a stress free mind is the birthright of every individual. Gayatri Dhar an engineer by profession said, “I am feeling extremely relaxed and happy and want to become an Art of Living teacher so as to make a happy society”. Mrs. Asha who has recently lost her husband said, “I found the Sudarshan Kriya very helpful in overcoming my grief and I have smiled after long”. Seema found the course beneficial in dealing with negative emotions. Jayanti Sinha said, “I feel deeply relaxed and want to repeat this course.
On the closing, firstly Savi Tayal, Zonal head CWA, presented a memento to the Arunima Sinha, later the chief guest on his speech showered all praises to the ladies participating in the shivir.
Later, Arun Kumar DIG GC CRPF Bantalab thanked all the guests and participating women for sparing them for the occasion and making the events a big success.
