JAMMU, Sept 28: Police today arrested six gamblers along with Rs 25,140 stake money and playing cards from Gulabgarh area, falling under the jurisdiction of Atholi Police Station.
The accused have been identified as Pritam Lal, Jagjeet Singh, Satish Kumar, Madan Lal, Satvir Singh and Rattan Lal, all residents of Padder.
A case under Gambling Act has been registered at Atholi Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Inspector Rakesh Manni made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Padder.
