6 injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Dec 30: Six persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
In Krishna Nagar area of Miran Sahib, a bus hit a scooty and injured its rider and pillion rider, this morning. The injured persons have been identified as Nar Singh (63) son of Milkhi Singh and his wife Sheela Devi, both residents of Miran Sahib. Both the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, for treatment.
Another mishap took place this morning at Sidhra when an auto (bearing registration No JK0AW-7835) coming from wrong side was hit by a Tavera car (having registration No JK03D-0236). In the mishap, Sabi Bibi (37) wife of Mohd Shafi of Kathua, an occupant of the auto, received injuries. She was rushed to GMCH for treatment.
A 4-year child was also injured when he was hit by a motorcycle at Gandhi Nagar area. The injured child identified as Aarnav Sharma son of Suresh Sharma, a resident of Akhnoor Road, was immediately shifted to GMCH Jammu for treatment.
In another mishap at Gandhi Nagar area of Jammu, a pedestrian namely Swarn Singh (58) son of Sadhu Singh, a resident of Kunjwani, received serious injuries when he was hit by a Figo car while crossing the road near Gurudwara. He is undergoing treatment at GMCH.
An old man also received serious injuries when he was hit by a car at fly over, opposite the office of Director Health, Jammu. The man identified as Noor Mohd (80) son of Pina, a resident of Mahore, was shifted to GMCH for treatment.
In all cases, the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
