JAMMU, Feb 18: Six jhuggies were gutted in fire at Channi Rama.
As per police sources, fire broke out in a jhugii at Channi Rama, which later spread to adjoining five jhuggies.
After getting information, police rushed to the spot and fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control, but till then the jhuggies were completely gutted.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Channi Himmat police has taken cognizance in this regard.
