6 PoK guests arrive

SRINAGAR, Nov 12:
Only six residents of PoK arrived here this afternoon to meet their relatives, separated in 1947, official sources said.
Four residents of the Kashmiri valley, who crossed to other side, were among 33 persons who also crossed sides at Kaman post, the last Indian military post, on Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector in north Kashmir.
The sources said six PoK residents, including a woman, arrived at Kaman post after crossing the Aman Setu, peace bridge on foot this afternoon.
They said 17 Kashmiris who completed their stay in PoK also returned back here. They included eleven women, the sources said.
Four Kashmiri residents, including two women, crossed over to PoK to meet their relatives. They were accompanied by 12 PoK residents who returned to their homes after completing stay in Kashmir.
The bus service, started on April 7,2005, has helped thousands of families divided in 1947 to meet each other. (UNI)
