KATRA, Mar 18: J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association has postponed the 65th Moori Kesari Vishal Dangal which was scheduled to be held at Middle School Moori, Katra, Reasi on March 29, 2020.
The decision in this regard was taken by the Association in a meeting at the office chamber of the President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma at Katra.
Those who attended the meeting included former Sarpanch Romesh Chander, President Peer Baba Dangal Committee Moori, Om Parkash, Tarsaim Kumar, Mohan Singh, Surinder Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Maheshwar Singh. Rajan Singh, and Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri).
“ The Vishal Dangal has been postponed as a safety measure in connection with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The Association will announce the fresh date for holding the Dangal separately,” Mr Sharma said.
