JAMMU, Dec. 3 : 6th Christmas T20 Cricket Championship, an annual feature of the Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu and Christian Sports Organization Jammu will be started from December 5, 2018 at Parade Ground Jammu here.
The slogan of the Championship is “Be Healthy- Don’t Do Drugs” and it will be organized jointly under the banner of Christian Sports Organization Jammu, Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu and Christian Fellowship Trust Jammu. The objective of the championship is to involve the youths in sports so that they may not involve in drugs.
The event conduct committee includes SSP Rajesh Sharma, SSP Ramesh Kotwal, SP Amritpal Singh, Rajesh Gill Chief Prosecuting Officer and Managing Secretary Kandayara, Johnson Gill, Festus Sotra, Victor Sotra, Asif Gill, David Mattoo, William Mattoo and Sunny Gill. The Sponsors of the championship are Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu, South Indian Bank, Federal Bank, Canara Bank and M/S Horizon Group of Industries.
For the smooth conduct of the event a meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Fr.Kuriakose in which the members of the Christian Sports Organization Jammu and Christian Fellowship Trust Jammu took part. 20 teams will be considered for the event, red balls will be used and cash prize of Rs 30,000 alongwith the Trophies and individual momentoes will be distributed.
The participating teams include KC Sports Club, KC Academy Eleven, Simula Cricket Club, Lakshmi Cricket Club, Road & Safety Cricket Club, Secretariat Eleven (Kashmir), Samar Cricket Club, Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor, Christian Sports Organization Eleven, Horizon Kings Samba, Evershine Cricket Club, W.C.C. Kashmir, Green Field Cricket Eleven, Cant Cricket Club Satwari, Nagrota Cricket Club, Saffron Cricket Club, Vishal Cricket Club, K.C.C.C., Poonch Royals and Shehanshah Cricket Club.
