JAMMU, Oct 23: KC Sports Club registered emphatic win over their rival in the 6th Eid-Diwali Milan T20 Cricket Cup, which got underway at KC School ground, here today.
The tournament in which 12 teams are participating is being organized jointly by Simula Club, KC Sports Club and J&K Sports Promoters Club.
Earlier Rafiq Ul Hasan, DIG Jammu inaugurated the tournament in an impressive function.
Earlier, in the first match KC Sports Club defeated Nagrota Youngsters by 67 runs.
Batting first, KC Sports Club scored 161 runs in stipulated 20 overs for loss of 6 wickets, with Bhanu (47), Amrit Pal (33) and Ateev Saini (29) being the main scorers. From bowling Side Satyam took 2 wickets, Rajeshwer, Rajinder and Sandeep claimed 1 wicket each.
Nagrota Youngsters, in reply scored 94 runs and lost the match by 67 runs. Deep (13) and Satyam (10) were the main scorers.
From KC Sports Club Aman Sharma was the pick of the bowlers, who took 4 wickets while Arjun Chowdhary, Vishal Rana, Ateev Saini and Bablu took 1 wicket each. Aman Sharma was declared as the man of the match.
The match was officiated by Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Sadiq Hussain Malik and Sandeep, while the proceedings of the inaugural function were conducted by famous commentator RP Singh.
