JAMMU, Mar 25: The election to the Board of Directors of J&K Cooperative Housing Corporation Limited Jammu was held today.
A total of 29 societies were eligible to vote and 10 candidates participated in the election process out of which seven got elected as Board of Directors of the Corporation.
The candidates who got elected were Abdul Gani Hajan, representative Faisal Cooperative House Building Society Limited Baramulla, Balbir Singh, representative Indira Cooperative House Building Society Limited, Vinod Sawhney, representative Tawi Cooperative House Building Society Limited, Bashir Ahmed Mir, representative Alamdar Cooperative House Building Society Limited, Jatinder Sharma, representative Diploma Engineers Cooperative House Building Society Limited, Balbir Singh Manhas, representative Janipur Cooperative House Building Society and VK Magoo, representative Vikas Cooperative House Building Society Limited now changed the name as Jammu Cooperative Tourism and House Building Development Society.
The election result was declared by Returning Officer Zaffar Ahmad Banday, Deputy District Election Officer.
