KATHUA, Aug 1: Contin-uing its anti encroachment drive from State land, the district administration Kathua on the second consecutive day today demolished seven pucca shops at Kharot More here.
The drive was lunched under overall supervision and directives of Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Rohit Khajuria who has warned the encroachers of State land of serious consequences. The DC asked all those encroachers who have constructed their shops, buildings and other structures on State land or public land to demolish the same themselves failing which the strong action under law ill be taken against them.
Today’s drive was undertaken by Tehsildar Kathua, Chief Execu-tive Officer (CEO), Kathua, Municipality and SHO Kathua. The operation continued late in the evening.
The DC has also sought the public cooperation in this mission.
