JAMMU, Feb 8: Seven-member State Badminton team selected during J&K State Badminton Championships 2018 held at Jammu left for Guwahati (Assam) tomorrow to participate in the 83rd Senior National Badminton Championships 2018-19 being held from February 10 to February 16, 2019.
The team: (Boys) Raghav Dogra, Vipul Saini, Divum Gupta and Sunil Bakshi.
Girls: Poorvi Singh, Rupal Anand and Rashmi Kashyap.
Vikram Saini, SAI Badminton Coach will accompany the team as Coach and Balbir Jamwal as Manager.
Before the departure, the team was screened by the Screening Committee of J&K State Sports Council including Abdul Qyoom, Chief Sports Officer; Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer; Ashok Singh, Manger, MA Stadium; besides Dr OD Sharma, Chairman, J&K Badminton Association; Balbir Jamwal, General Secretary, J&K Badminton Association; Satpal Sharma, SAI Badminton Coach.
