70 children felicitated for Wildlife paintings

JAMMU, Feb 7: 70 Children residing in Jammu cantonment civil wards area were felicitated for their best wildlife paintings in a prize distribution function of painting exhibition, organized at Nai-Basti today by Bharat Pratibha Vikas Mandal and Kashyap Sabha in collaboration with WWF.
Former wildlife warden, Raja Sayed was the chief guest on the occasion, who inaugurated exhibition. Over 90 paintings were displayed in the exhibition.
Recently wildlife painting competitions were held in various location of Jammu cantonment area & adjoining where morethan 700 students from 25 schools participated. Mehak and Taniya of New Model Public School, Narwal Pain got first and second position respectively, while Akankisha Kapoor of People’s Academy old Satwari got third position.
Nusrat from Shiksha Kendra, Mithun Kumar from Govt. Girls High School Raipur satwari, Kiran Kumari of Govt. Middle School Govind Pur, Hrithik Sharma of JK Model School Rani Bagh and Nitika Bhau of New Model Public School Narwal Pain got special Prize. All these winners got cash prize, Momentos and certificates. Besides this, 22 Children from different school were given consolation prizes.
