JAMMU, Feb 26: Jammu’s 72-year-old Satish Vaid recently achieved a remarkable feat by completing the Apollo New Delhi Half Marathon in the 72+ category. Vaid participated in the 10 km run, clocking an impressive time of 58:13.02 seconds. The marathon witnessed a large turnout of participants competing across various categories, including the 42 km, 21 km and 10 km races.
An experienced marathoner, Vaid has previously competed in several prestigious events such as the TMM, One Race in Jalandhar and marathons organized by the Shrine Board in Katra. His recent participation in the Jaipur Marathon further showcases his dedication to fitness and his passion for running. Vaid’s achievement stands as an inspiring example of perseverance and commitment at any age.
