JAMMU, June 6: The State Cabinet, which met today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at the summer capital, accorded sanction to the appointment of 75 officers of departmental feeding services to the KAS Time Scale and gave additional charge to an IAS officer.
Farooq Ahmed Peer, Commissioner Secretary of the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, shall hold the additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary Labour and Employment Department till further order.
The officers, who have been accorded promotion to the KAS Time Scale notionally with effect from January 1, 2013, belong to feeding service of 12 different departments.
The promotes include Tatpar Jolden, Shahida Khanam, Naseema Wani, Attar Chand, Mohammad Bashir Lone, Abdul Majid Lone and Yasir Arafat Zargar from Cooperative Department.
Manju Sharma and Autar Krishan Koul from Hospitality and Protocol, Dr Nargis Suraiya from Industries and Commerce, Jagdish Chander and Peerzada Zahoor Ahmad from Information Department and Syed Altaf Ahmad Andrabi from Labour Department.
Sultan Firdous, Subash Chander Dogra, Sudershan Kumar, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Shah, Ghulam Rasool Wani, Tsering Mutup, Ahsanullah Khan, Hamidullah Mir and Sunik Kumar from Revenue.
Nissar Ahmad Nissar, Balbir Singh, Farooq Ahmad Shah, Dr Sunil Sharma, Mohammad Abass, Zahoor Ahmad Magray, Imtiyaz Ahmad Sheikh, Syed Sajad Qadri, Mohd Yousuf Malik, Angrez Singh, Mohammad Tanveer, Akhtar Hussain Qazi, Parveen Kumar, Dil Mir, Sushil Kumar Atri and Noor Alam from rural Development Department.
The promoted officers from Social Welfare Departmental Feeding Service include Kamla Devi, Misra Jabeen, Kanta Sharma, Shahida Parveen, Suman Bala, Sharief-un-Nisa, Zeenat Ara, Sudershan Kumar, Kachroo Turab Shah, D C Bhatti, Mohammad Anwar Banday, Rakesh Kumar, Suresh Chander and Masrat Hussain.
The KAS time Scale has been accorded to Rajeshwar S Charak, Kewal Krishan, Attam Dev Singh and Manzoor Ahmad from Transport Department while promotes from Secretariat-II as feeding service, include Kewal Krishan, Sat Paul Bavouria, Hakim Ashiq Hussain, Nelofar, Kuldip Kumar Sepolia, Mohammad Ashraf Dhobi, Raja Jee Bhat, Abdul Rashid Bhat, Ravi Paul Magotra, Irshad Ahmad, Peer Manzoor Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmad and Ahmad Hussain.
Administrative officers Nissar Ahmad Zargar, Mohammad Yaqoob Ganai and Pawan Kumar are among the promotes.
The Cabinet also accorded sanction to release of KAS Time Scale grade in favour of four retired officers. They include T S Bavouria and Labhu Ram Digra of Secretariat-I and Mohammad Hassan Lal and Renu Sareen of Social Welfare.
