JAMMU, Oct 26: The Central University of Jammu organized an educational visit for 78 students from Class 6 of The Shri Ram Universal School, Jakh, Samba, to the prestigious Satish Dhawan Centre for Space Sciences. The visit, guided by Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain, provided students with hands-on exposure to advanced research in space sciences.
Accompanied by faculty members Vaishali Sharma and Varsha Sharma, the students explored the Central Instrumentation Facility, where they engaged with high-end material characterization tools and learned about the practical applications of space science research. The event was expertly coordinated by Mehak Mahajan, Senior Technical Assistant, along with Bandhna Verma and Ayesha Bandhari, under the supervision of Prof. Vinay Kumar, Convener of the Satish Dhawan Centre for Space Sciences.
The visit offered these young learners a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of space science and cultivate a curiosity for scientific exploration.
