*Two hockey matches held

JAMMU, Nov 29: 7th Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tournament commenced here today at K K Hakku Hockey Stadium here which was organised by Kashmir Sikh Sangat under the aegis of Hockey Jammu and Kashmir, two matches were played on the opening day.
First match was played between Kathua Hockey Club Lachipura and Air Force Station Jammu in which Air Force Station Jammu won the match by 9-4. Arshdeep Singh from Kathua Hockey Club Lachipura was awarded as man of the match. The second match was played between Aks Club Digana and Srinagar XI which was won by Srinagar XI by 5-1. Arunpreet Singh of Srinagar Xl was awarded as man of the match
Karanjit Singh, president KSS, Dr Dhanwant Singh, KN Singh, Suraj Singh, Pupinder Singh, Balbir Singh and Surjit Singh Bali were present on this occasion.
