JAMMU, Jan 22: Two days 7th District Jammu Jujitsu Championship, organised under the auspices of Jujitsu Association of Jammu and Kashmir, concluded at Baby Caterers Hall, Rehari Colony, here.
One hundred and eighty students drawn from top schools of Jammu City participated in the Championship. The participating schools included KC International School, GD Goenka Public School, Delhi Public School, KC Gurukul, Dewan Devi School, Shangrilla Public School, SP Smart School and Ultimax Mixed Martial Arts Academy.
KC International School emerged overall winner and GD Goenka as the runners-up.
Tarsem Sharma, General Secretary J&K Jujitsu Association was the chief guest on the valedictory function, while prominent among others present on the occasion were Suresh Kumar, Danish Sharma, Ravi Singh, Rajesh Kumar and Rajkumar.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sharma threw light on the importance of Jijitsu in self defence, fitness and development of Physique.
The chief guest and other dignitaries distributed prizes among the winners and runner up teams on the occasion.
