JAMMU, Oct 12: The Taekwondo Association of District Jammu, under the aegis of the J&K Taekwondo Association and J&K Sports Council, is set to host the 27th District Jammu Taekwondo Championships 2024-25. The event will take place at the Indoor Hall, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu from October 28 to 29.
This championship is open to Sub-Junior, Cadet, Junior and Senior athletes from district Jammu. Medallists will qualify to represent the district in the upcoming 27th J&K UT Taekwondo Championships 2024-25.
To participate, athletes must possess a valid JKTA Athlete License, which is mandatory for all age categories. Senior athletes are also required to present their Black Belt Certificates to qualify for the UT-level championships, in accordance with the Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) guidelines.
The official weigh-in for the competition is scheduled for October 27 at 5 pm at the Indoor Hall, Bhagwati Nagar. Athletes must submit completed registration forms signed by their parents, along with their Aadhar card, JKTA License, and Date of Birth certificates.
