JAMMU, Dec 15: 7th State Speedball Championship concluded at MA Stadium, here today.
Khurshid A Ganai, Financial Commissioner Industries and Commerce Department was the chief guest on the occasion, while founder patron of Speedball Association, Pooja Malhotra, chairman TS Group of Institutes, Navin Agarwal, Director General Youth Services and Sports and chief patron of Speedball Association, patrons of the Speedball Association, Shantmanu, Divisional Commissioner of Jammu and Vijay Gupta, journalist were present.
The three day long event comprised of 1000 students drawn from 6 districts of the State.
Earlier, Pooja Malhotra presented welcome address, which ws followed by a variety of cultural items presented by the students.
The event was organized by Sunny Nanda, general secretary of the Association.
On the occasion, the champion of the year trophy was presented to Rhea Tikku and Gurmanjeet Singh and the most promising player trophy was presented to Ankit Sharma.
The vote of thanks was presented by S P Langer, chief advisor of the Association, while Manika conducted the proceedings of the programme.
The winners were felicitated by the dignitaries on the occasion.
