JAMMU, May 28: A private ration dealer of Marh area was suspended by the Director CAPD, Jammu after SDM Marh conducted raid and seized 8 bags of public ration being sold in black-market today.
Official sources said that SDM Marh Sunaina Sharma, acting on a specific information conducted a raid and seized eight bags of flour and rice of CAPD at Gango Chack in Marh area. The ration belonged to private ration dealer Suraj Parkash of Gango Chak. The SDM referred the case to local police and then contacted Director CAPD Jammu, G S Chib.
The Director immediate suspended the license of ration dealer Suraj Parkash and attached the families of the area with other adjoining dealer for receiving their monthly ration quota. The police registered a case and started investigation.
