UDHAMPUR, Jan 31: Police today rescued eight bovine animals and seized the truck, in which the animals were being smuggled to Kashmir.
The truck, bearing registration number JK14D-3771, was intercepted by Police at a naka near Khari on the National Highway. During thorough search, the vehicles was found loaded with eight bovine animals, which were rescued by Police.
In this connection, a case has been registered at Police Station Udhampur.
