8 bovines rescued, 4 arrested

JAMMU, Mar 16: Police rescued eight bovine animals and arrested four smugglers from Talab Tillo area.
As per police sources, a team from police post Talab Tillo during naka checking intercepted 4 vehicles going from Jammu to Poonch.
During search, police rescued 8 bovine animals and arrested four persons on the spot.
The accused have been identified as Mohammad Raiz, son of Mohammad Kaka, Jahangir Hussain, son of Feroz Din and Tariq Abdullah, son of Mohammad Shabir, all residents of Dingle, District Poonch and Mushtaq Hussain, son of Noor Din of Khanetar, Tehsil Haveli, District Poonch.
A case under FIR Number 33/16 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and further investigation of the case is going on.
The arrest was made by Incharge Talab Tillo police post SI Rahul Mahajan under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector RS Choudhary, SDPO City West Sugandha Mahajan and SP City North Dr Vinod Kumar.
