8 injured in 2 motor bike accidents

KATHUA, Oct 3: Eight persons were injured today in motor cycle accidents at two different places on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway in Kathua and Samba district respectively.
As per reports, four persons were injured after two motorcycles collided at Budhi near here. Both the two wheelers were going in opposite direction. The injured were identified as Naresh Kumar and Makhan who were riding on one bike and Sagar and Suraj riding on another bike.
Among them the condition of Makhan and Sagar is described as serious and they were referred to GMC Hospital Jammu while Naresh Kumar and Suraj are undergoing treatment at District Hospital Kathua. Kathua Police has registered a case and seized both the two wheelers.
In another incident, four bikers were injured when their two wheelers coming in opposite direction collided on Jammu Pathankote NH at Sapwal. The injured were identified as Neelam Kumari and her husband Vangesh Kumar of Bishnah, Tarseem Raina son of Om Parakash and Naresh Kumar son of Dev Raj both residents of Jammu. All the four have been referred to GMC Hospital Jammu for treatment as their condition was stated to be serious.
The Sapwal Police has registered a case and seized the two bikes bearing number JK21B-3647 and JK02BG-1546.
