UDHAMPUR, Aug 22: Eight persons were injured in a collision between Tanker and Bus on the National Highway near Mand.
According to police, the Tanker bearing registration number JK22-3709 collided with the passenger bus JK02A-3477 resulting into injuries to eight persons, who were rushed to District Hospital Udhampur.
Three of the injured, identified as Rekha Devi of Manthal, Soma Devi of Katra and Deepak Kumar of Rajouri were referred to GMC Jammu Hospital in view of their serious condition.
Besides Tanker Driver Tanbir Ahmad (34) son of Gulam Mohmad and his brother Shabir Ahmad (26), resident of Shopiyan, Kashmir, other injured were identified as Kaka Ram, Annu Devi (24), and her two daughters Archana (3) and Madu Rani. All are resident of Ramnagar.
