JAMMU, Nov 19: Five persons of a family among eight injured today in separate road mishaps happened in different parts of the Jammu region.
According to a police spokesperson, five of a family including Rajan son of Babu Ram, her wife Suman (35), kids Sourav and Roze, and Rimpi (25) daughter of Goldi, all residents of Udhampur received serious injuries when a speeding car bearing registration No JK02AG-7551 hit their car having registration No JK02U-2240 at Bantalab in Nagrota area of city outskirts when they were on their way to Jammu from Udhampur.
The injured Sourav, Suman and Rimpi were immediately shifted Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu while the injured kids were shifted to SMGS Hospital, Jammu. Their condition was stated to be stable till the last reports came in.
At Patoli area of city outskirts, Rattan Lal (47), son of Dwarka Nath, a resident of Purkhoo Camp, was injured when the scooter he was riding on was hit by a motorcycle. He has been shifted to GMCH for treatment.
A youth also received minor injuries when the bike he was riding on got slipped today at Samba. The injured person identified as Raman Jamwal son of Prabhat Singh, a resident of Suchian in Samba was rushed to GMCH for treatment.
In Arnia area of RS Pura sector, a person identified as Vijay Kumar (33) son of Gyan Chand, a resident of Arnia got injured when he was hit by a tractor.
In all the cases, the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
