JAMMU, June 1: Government today made appointment of seven Sub-Judges as permanent District and Sessions Judges and one Sub-Judge as Adhoc District and Sessions Judge.
According to the order issued by Abdul Majid Bhat, Secretary to Government Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Rupali Ratta, Sub-Judge in Leave Reserve J&K High Court, Suneet Gupta, Chief Judicial Magistrate Jammu, Masarat Shaheen, Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar, Ritesh Dubey, Chief Judicial Magistrate Udhampur, Mehmood Choudhary, Chief Judicial Magistrate Rajouri, Kamlesh Pandita, Chief Judicial Magistrate Reasi and Ranbir Singh Jasrotia, Chief Judicial Magisrate Handwara have been appointed as District and Sessions Judges.
Sarfaraz Hussain Shah, Chief Judicial Magistrate Poonch has been posted as Adhoc District and Sessions Judge for a period of six months or till the post is filled up by regular process whichever is earlier as provided by under Rule 20 of Jammu and Kashmir Higher Judicial Service Rules, 2009.
