POONCH, July 31: The two day-long, 8th District Handball Championship organized by District Handball Association Poonch under the aegis of J&K Handball Association with the collaboration of J&K Sports Council for senior men concluded here today. There were six teams who took part in the tournament.
Poonch Handball Club and Stadium (A) manage to secure their positions in final. This championship was organized on league cum knock out basis. Chairperson, J&K Waqf Board, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi was the chief guest. In final match Poonch Handball Club smashed the Stadium-A by 18-14. The final match was officiated by Imtaiz Ahmed Lone and Pervaiz Ahmed Lone.
