JAMMU, Dec 26: The 8th State Speedball Championship organised by Indian Youth Games and Sports Federation in collaboration with J&K Sports Speedball Association concluded today at Crescent Public School Janipur, Jammu.
About 120 players from 10 schools of different districts participated in the Championship. Haseeb-Ur-Rehman (DIG Railway) was the chief guest while Kosheen Koul (DySP Headquarters) and Arshad Choudhary, Chairman Crescent Public School were the special guests. Pooja Malhotra (Founder Patron, JKSBA) welcomed the guests on the behalf of Jammu & Kashmir Sports Speedball Association.
Haseeb-Ur-Rehman applauded all the players as well as their parents. He also lauded efforts of Sunny Nanda (General Secretary, JKSSB) for organizing this tournament. The event was hosted by Vineet Koul and the matches were officiated by Sahil Janjua (Coach Kathua), Sandeep Sharma (Coach Udhampur), Amar Koushal (Coach Rajouri), Vishal, Sahil Kaith (Coach CPS) and Jagdeep Janjua (APS Dhar Coach).
The winner of single event (Gold Medal) were Shrasthi Sharma (CPS) Vinayak Sharma (CPS), Naksh Charak (JSS), Dakshdeep Singh (JSS), Prabal Bakshi (JSS),Tanshiq Mahajan (Aps, Dhar Road), Rayandeep Singh (JSS), Rajveer Singh (RMPS), Pradhuman (DHSS), Tarundeep Singh (JSS) and Lauvya Mahajan (JSS).
